Parlaville is a coast of small towns, each with its own telenovela in its own language, told in one-minute episodes. You follow the story and pick up the language as it goes. San Marcelo del Mar is the Spanish town, and the first one open. Port-Lumière, the French town, is next: get notified when it opens.

Neutral Latin American Spanish: clear, everyday Spanish that’s understood everywhere, without strong regional slang.

Complete beginners (A1). It starts from your first words, so you don’t need to know any Spanish already, and builds up through everyday situations. Season 1 is 60 episodes.

Each episode is one scene, about a minute long. Every line is said in Spanish, then in English, then in Spanish again, with matching words in matching colours, so the third time you already know what it means. Each episode also has two key phrases to say out loud with the cast.

The episodes are one-minute videos, posted as @parlaville_es on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Each one ends by naming its page here, like parlaville.com/en-es/1. The San Marcelo del Mar page lists every posted episode.
